Terrestrial insect blown or falling onto the water.
Habitat & hatch
Found in rivers, tailwaters, lake littoral zones, and reservoirs, most commonly in bank and undercut. Surface only. Not an aquatic hatch — fish key on wind-blown insects near banks.
Timing
Strongest surface activity occurs around midday, and the afternoon.
