Adult stage; important for stillwater fly fishing.

Habitat & hatch

Found in lake littoral zones, spring creeks, and tailwaters, most commonly in weedy littoral areas and runs. Near bottom in vegetation. Emergence in shallow bays and weed edges.

Timing

Strongest surface activity occurs around the morning, and the evening.
